This whole world is a riot, isn’t it? There are so many things to look at — to be glad about, to ponder, to wonder how they make sense.
These days, one of the things I am most grateful for is language. Words are a miracle. It’s amazing that a person can think of something, say it out loud, and then another person knows what they were thinking about.
